Price Your Home Accurately

Price your home accurately. For this, you should enlist the help of a reputable listing agent. Don’t choose someone who dabbles in real estate. If your agent isn’t selling 2+ homes per month on a consistent basis, what makes you think they can sell yours in a timely manner? You’ll fare much better if you select an experienced real estate agent who sells a fair number of listings, preferably in your area or neighborhood.

Also, PLEASE for the love of God don’t think that your Zestimate is correct!!  It’s almost always wrong and the information isn’t coming from a reputable market expert in your local area. Your buyers will see it of course, but it’s not something that should be used to price your home.

Your best bet is to enlist the help of a local realtor with a fantastic track record. Your agent will analyze comparable sales in the area and then issue their market value often called a CMA . From here you guys will be able to come together to issue a listing price that works for your family but is also supported by market facts.
