Our very own ATV Park & annual Kayak Festival // Fort Bragg Weekend Picks: March 29-31

This weekend you could get adventurous at a local ATV park re-opening, bring the kiddos to a library hosted story and art playdate with pets, get out on the river at Spring Lake Outpost’s Kayak Fest, or even participate in a free Spartan Workout hosted by legit Spartan coaches. These are our picks for this weekend at Fort Bragg!

All Weekend

Deep Creek Re-Opening/Reveal

Did you know that there is an ATV park right in our backyard? Complete with camping (or glamping, if that’s your style) spots, this weekend will bless your adventurous, outdoorsy spirits with races, entertainment, food, parts vendors, a bonfire and more! Their site even has clean, heated and cooled bathroom and shower houses. Don’t miss the start to the 2019 season at this premier ATV park.

Cost: $30 all weekend

Friday March 29

PETS Themed Play Date

The Eva L. Hansen Learning Library does it again with a fun play date for ages three through five (younger kiddos are invited on Thursday). Their story and art times are a Fayetteville hit.

This fun event is all about the furry and feathery.  Even kids who don’t have pets at home hold a special place in their hearts for dogs, cats, fish, birds and other animals.

Kayak Fest

God bless spring time. Our favorite outdoorsy events and hosts are beginning their seasons and we can’t get enough! You may spot some of our team at this Kayak Fest this weekend.

Spring Lake Outpost hosts their second annual kayak festival, featuring food trucks, brews, live music, and the best kayaking you’ve experienced all year! You can rent kayaks or bring your own.

Can’t make it this weekend? No problem! They have daily adventures to partake in.

Sunday March 31

Spartan Workout Tour

Spartan Training is coming to Fayetteville on their 2019 tour. Their certified Spartan SGX coaches are here for you! At this workshop they will lead you in a workout that will help new and experienced fanatics to take it up a notch.

What to expect: a 30 minute warm up, 60 minute body weight workout, training and race tips, a Spartan workout tee shirt, and discounts off of races, training, and online merchandise. That sounds like a plan to us!
