1. Get on the river

2. Go to a Woodpeckers game

3. Check out the Airborne and Special Ops Museum & Veterans Park

Also situated downtown, the ASOM is a free museum located right next to Veterans Park. You can have a great cultural experience and find a fun restaurant downtown to eat at afterward!

4. Putt putt, batting cages, and go karts

The Putt-Putt Fun Center in Hope Mills is great fun for the whole family. They have batting cages, putt-putt, go-karts, laser tag, and arcade games! Spend the afternoon or evening together at this totally quality veteran mini-golf chain.

5. Go camping for the weekend

Celebrate all weekend with a fun camping trip! Check out the local “glamping” options, drive a little farther for some beach camping, and get your exercise on by doing a little hiking.
